"PARENTAGE OF MARY GOODELL
Robert Goodell and his wife Catharine the parents of the first wife of John Pease Sen with three children of whom Mary was the eldest the custom house book says her age was four years were passengers on the ship Elizabeth which sailed from Ipswich England the last of April 1634, His name appears among the inhabitants of Salem in 1635 though there is no record of land being granted him in Salem until 1637.
