Gawdy Hall, Norfolk, England
Gawdy Hall was where Agnes Mannock and Thomas Gawdy Everard were married. Thomas's mother, Catherine Gawdy was born in the hall in 1532. Thomas Gawdy, father of Catherine Gawdy is also believed to have been born in the hall in 1509. Thomas Gawdy and Catherine LeStrange were married in Gawdy Hall, probably around 1529. The hall was originally built in the early 1500s on the site of Holbrook Manor in Redenhall, on the outskirts of the historic market town of Harleston in the heart of the Waveney Valley.
